The Neely Studio Inc. is an award-winning stained glass conservation and consulting studio that has served museums, libraries, colleges, churches, civic institutions and private collectors since 1991. Our clients include Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, Victoria Mansion Museum, Maine State Museum, Bowdoin College, University of New England, and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Maine. We are bound by the code of ethics and guidelines of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works as well as the National Park Service’s “The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties” and are ever conscious of our role as stewards of our cultural heritage. We review each project thoroughly, explore all treatment options, and work hard to maintain the original intention of the artist. As conservators our mission is to always “preserve the hand of the maker.”
